bothell-guy > Well the "one more thing leads another" trend continued ;-) so I traded the '79 RT in on a '99 RT and decided to get out of the boat ownership gig. Pic taken at LaConner including the (by then) boat for sale on the background - a 26' Bayliner Ciera that I had cruised for 2 seasons in the San Juans.

bothell-guy > Guess John's looking to see if I'm still there ! He *definitely* had me beat on the paddling vs. boat speed front. I blamed it on the "red boat" being generically faster than the wider cockpit etc. "blue boat" (a theory/excuse that did not *quite* hold up during Monday's outing and boat swap ;-) )
